Work opportunities

findajob.culture.info is an online listings service for jobs and employment opportunities for the cultural sector. It includes paid listings, free listings and automatic listings created by automatic searches of existing jobs databases. This is an international service, and initially covers 4 EU countries (France, Germany, Spain, UK) with an additional “other European countries” page, plus Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, and the USA.

Advice & guidance

askanexpert.culture.info will be an opportunity for users to ask questions of a range of international experts. You can select from the experts database to find someone with relevant expertise and you can then send them a question. You can also view existing discussions and join in on a particular one, or start your own forum. ONLINE IN JUNE 2009 (though experts can register online now).

Funding

fundscompare.culture.info will be a searchable database of funding opportunities relevant to the cultural sector. You will be able to add your own star ratings and comments to any of the funding schemes listed – so you won’t just find out what funds may be available but what users really think of them. ONLINE IN JUNE 2009.

In the meantime, you may want to visit:

Performances & exhibitions
Festivals & venues

show&tell.culture.info will be a “cultural youtube” where performers and artists can upload clips of their work as an online showcase of what they offer. Prospective venues or festivals (as well as residencies, etc.) will also be able to upload clips of their venue or event to help performers or artists select those they might wish to approach. REVISED VERSION ONLINE IN JUNE 2009.
